Is my connection to this website encrypted?
Yes. Every page on Task Monkey Services is served over HTTPS using TLS encryption. That means the data traveling between your browser or phone and our servers — including passwords, payment details, and personal information — is scrambled and cannot be read by anyone else.
What does 'encryption at rest' mean?
Encryption at rest means your data is protected even when it is sitting in our database or file storage. Account details, booking history, photos, contracts, and contractor documents are all stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure.
Does Task Monkey Services store my credit card number?
No. We never see or store your full credit card number. All card data is collected and processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Stripe handles the encryption, storage, and secure transmission of card information.
Who can see my booking and account information?
Only you and authorized Task Monkey Services staff can see your booking and account details. Our backend uses row-level access controls, which means one customer cannot view another customer's bookings, and contractors only see the job information they need to complete their work.
Are uploaded photos and signed documents kept private?
Yes. Photos, signed contracts, policy acknowledgments, and any other files uploaded through the platform are stored in private, access-controlled storage. They are never publicly accessible and are only shared with the staff or subcontractors assigned to your job.
What should I do if my browser says the connection is not secure?
