Policies & Procedures

This page is maintained by Task Monkey Services to answer common questions about how we schedule, charge, reschedule and stand behind our work across Rochester NY and Monroe County.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation of a service request will automatically reserve a credit for that service to be prepaid and used at a later date. An additional cancellation fee of $25.00 also applies.

  • The original service amount is held as a prepaid credit on your account.
  • Credits may be applied to any future Task Monkey Services job.
  • The $25 cancellation fee is separate from the credited amount and is not refundable.

Rain & Weather Policy

Safety and quality come first. When rain or severe weather prevents us from completing your service safely, your scheduled day will change to the next weather-appropriate day.

  • You do not need to rebook — we automatically move you to the next available dry/window.
  • We will text or call you with your updated arrival window.
  • Snow events may shift routes based on storm timing and city plow schedules.

Payments & Pricing

All prices shown on our website are estimates based on typical residential or commercial properties. NY State sales tax is calculated for your service address and added to taxable services at checkout.

  • If property size is not accurate, a price adjustment may be made after an on-site review. We will call or text you before any work begins.
  • Payment is handled by secure credit card checkout. We accept major cards through Stripe.
  • Reward points are earned on every completed dollar spent and can be redeemed on future service requests. Every reward point is equivalent to $1 US dollar in service credit.

Work Done Right Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If something is not done right, let us know within 24 hours of service completion and we will make it right.

  • Contact us by phone, text or email with photos if possible.
  • We will return to correct the issue at no extra charge when the concern is related to the service performed.
  • Damage caused by pre-existing conditions, hidden obstacles or customer-requested changes may not be covered.
